How is REQONNECT different from Google or a directory?
We don't give you a long list and leave you to work it out. Tell us what you need once and we'll understand the request, find the most suitable person from our network and make the connection.
Do I need to know which trade or service I need?
No. Just tell us the problem in normal language — for example, “water is coming through my ceiling” or “my car is making a strange noise.” We'll work out what kind of person is most suitable.
Will I have to contact lots of different providers?
No. That's exactly what we're trying to remove. We handle the search and connection so you don't have to repeat the same problem to multiple people.
Who agrees the price and the work?
Once you're connected, you and the provider discuss the job, timing and quote directly. REQONNECT remains available if either side needs help along the way.
What if something goes wrong?
Come back to us. We'll stay involved and help the customer and provider communicate and work towards the next sensible step.
Can I ask for something that isn't listed?

Who is responsible for your information?
REQONNECT is the trading name used for this service and is responsible for the personal information it uses in connection with customer requests and provider introductions. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@reqonnect.co.uk or call 07825 295383.
What information do we collect?
Depending on how you use the service, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, location or postcode, the details and timing of your request, information you send in messages, and any photos, videos or other information you choose to provide. We may also keep records of introductions, job progress, feedback and communications relevant to providing the service.
How do we use your information?
We use personal information to understand and respond to your request, identify a potentially suitable provider, make and manage an introduction, communicate with you and the provider, follow up on the outcome, deal with problems or complaints, keep appropriate business records, protect the service from misuse and improve how REQONNECT operates.
What is our lawful basis?
We generally use your information because it is necessary for our legitimate interests in operating REQONNECT, responding to requests, making suitable introductions, managing the service and keeping appropriate records. Where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, we rely on that legal obligation. If we ever rely on consent for a specific use, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Who do we share information with?
Where appropriate, we may share the information reasonably needed to progress your request with a suitable independent provider. We may also use service providers that support our communications, website hosting, security or business administration. We do not sell your personal information. Once you communicate directly with an independent provider, that provider may also be responsible for how they use information you give them.
How long do we keep information?
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, including managing the request, maintaining appropriate records, resolving disputes and meeting legal, tax or accounting requirements where applicable. Information that is no longer needed will be deleted, anonymised or securely disposed of.
Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of use, portability, or to object to certain processing. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.
Website, cookies and third-party services
REQONNECT does not currently intentionally use non-essential advertising or analytics cookies on this website. Our hosting and security infrastructure may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. If we introduce non-essential tracking in future, we will update this notice and use any consent mechanism required by law. Links to services such as WhatsApp take you to a third-party service, whose own privacy terms then apply.

REQONNECT's role
REQONNECT is a connection and introduction service. We help understand a customer's request and identify a potentially suitable independent provider from our network. Unless we expressly say otherwise, REQONNECT does not carry out the underlying trade, professional or other service itself.
Independent providers
Providers introduced through REQONNECT operate independently. The provider is responsible for discussing the work with the customer and for the services they agree to provide, including their workmanship, advice, availability, qualifications, licences, insurance and compliance with applicable laws or professional requirements.
Quotes, contracts and payment
Unless REQONNECT clearly states otherwise, the customer and provider agree the scope of work, price, timing, payment terms and any other job-specific conditions directly with each other. Any contract for the underlying work is between the customer and the provider. Customers should make sure they understand and accept the provider's quote and terms before work begins.
Provider selection and availability
We aim to make useful, suitable introductions using the information available to us, but we cannot guarantee that a provider will be available, accept a request, provide a quote, meet a particular timescale or be suitable for every circumstance. An introduction is not a guarantee of any provider's work or outcome.
Your responsibilities when making a request
Please give us information that is accurate and reasonably complete so we can understand your request. You are responsible for deciding whether to proceed with a provider, checking any quote or job details you consider important, providing safe and lawful access where needed, and telling the provider about relevant risks or circumstances affecting the work.
If something goes wrong
If there is a problem with work arranged through an introduction, contact the provider promptly and let REQONNECT know. We will make reasonable efforts to help both sides communicate and work towards a sensible next step. This support does not make REQONNECT the provider of the underlying service or replace any rights you may have against the provider.
Liability and your legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer. Subject to those rights and applicable law, REQONNECT is not responsible for the acts, omissions, workmanship, advice or contractual obligations of independent providers.
Urgent, dangerous or unlawful requests
REQONNECT is not an emergency service. If there is an immediate risk to life, health, safety or property, contact the appropriate emergency service or an appropriately qualified emergency provider directly. We may refuse requests that are unlawful, unsafe, abusive, fraudulent or outside the scope of the service.
Providers joining the network
Providers may be subject to separate provider terms, eligibility requirements and commercial arrangements with REQONNECT, including success-based fees where agreed. Those arrangements are separate from the customer's agreement with the provider for the underlying work.
Changes to the service or these terms
REQONNECT may update the service and these terms as the business develops. The latest version will be published on this website. Changes will not remove rights that have already arisen under applicable law.
Governing law and contact
